What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a science that deals with the principle that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all the glands, organs and parts of the body. Reflexology is a unique method of using the thumb and fingers on these reflex areas.
Through the use of a unique thumb and finger walking technique on each foot, sensory nerves carry information to the brain and help release endorphins to reduce pain in the body. The theory is that crystal deposits form at the nerve endings; this keeps the electrical impulses of the nerves from grounding. By breaking up the crystal deposits in the feet, this relieves congestion in the body and the body functions flow smoothly.
